Clearing cobwebs

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

I was looking at my twitter stream and saw a tweet from Brett Nordquist
When all else is equal, I’m giving my business to the company whose founder keeps an up-to-date blog.
I did a quick check and this blog hadn’t been posted to in over three months (98 days to be precise, yikes!). We’ve […]

New MarsEdit

Friday, September 7th, 2007

Just upgraded to MarsEdit 2.0. Some cosmetic differences and a few new options but overall looks pretty similar. I really like MarsEdit though so I want to support it’s continued development.
Now if I can only get the time/discipline to actually put some blog posts up here.

Todd And’s Power150 RSS feed application by Marjolein

Monday, February 5th, 2007

Marjolein Hoekstra contacted me last week about possibly using GrazrScript and a grazr private label to enable a rich feed application for Todd And and his Power150 marketing blog list. I thought this was a great idea and put my energies into supporting her great work.
When we envisioned GrazrScript we’d imagined a system that allowed […]

Structured Nakedness

Monday, January 29th, 2007

Constantin Basturea has made the blog book (or blook) that Robert Scoble and Shel Israel have written, Naked Conversations, browsable via grazr. Cool use, Constantin, Thanks!
This was actually one of the uses we’d envisioned for Grazr as a tool, organizing e-books (or more specifically blooks) like this. It’s great to see that happen! […]

OPML in 6 minutes

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

David Tebbutt has published a small six minute presentation on OPML which was a distillation of a talk he gave at a Online Information Conference. He shows Grazr, but also talks about other sources and uses for OPML.
As an aside, I always think It’s fun to actually hear someone’s voice with whom I’ve corresponded.

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006

I’m happy to announce a new private label Grazr for The Blogging Times blog network.

Click the “+Grazr” to clone this or go directly to their custom landing site. There’s also a link in the right sidebar of the blogging times home page.
I also wanted to send out a quick thanks to Derek Anderson for the […]

What is a feed application?

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

We’ve release GrazrScript 1.0 but I still hear the question, what is a feed application? Adam and I have some very specific views on what this means but we also agree that the most powerful kinds of applications are the ones designed and built by those with the domain knowledge in the fields where they […]

Grazing Apples

Tuesday, August 8th, 2006

I pretty much live inside the little Grazr box these days, writing code, testing, re-testing, tweaking, adding features, testing again… Since I’m always using ‘live’ files, I sometimes end up grazing across large sets of interrelated posts and blogs. Sometimes I can’t help but get sucked into reading new blogs and particular articles that I […]

cNet, Grazr, and myspace

Monday, August 7th, 2006

Another interesting thing that happened today was that we showed up on the front page of cNet news in thier “web 2.0 blog” section. There was a little confusion about myspace and whether Grazr works ‘embedded’ in a myspace page, the quick answer is no due to restrictions on the types of allowed tags (no […]

Busy Day

Monday, August 7th, 2006

It’s been a busy link day, no doubt thanks in part to the events of yesterday and the podcast I participated in (thanks again, Dave!).
First I wanted to mention Critt Jarvis, and his project Conversation Base. Critt has been a supporter of Grazr and a source of lots of ideas (and energy, lots of energy […]
