Just upgraded to MarsEdit 2.0. Some cosmetic differences and a few new options but overall looks pretty similar. I really like MarsEdit though so I want to support it’s continued development.
Now if I can only get the time/discipline to actually put some blog posts up here.

I installed the delicious firefox extension a few days ago and I must say, it’s great. It’s so much nicer than using the web interface, it’s really well integrated into firefox and is by far the best way I’ve seen to use delicious.

Even though I am a technophile, develop software for the web, sometimes, maybe, I can be bit curmudgeon-y about new technologies, especially ones that I (rightly or wrongly) might perceive to be a fad. I feel that way about Twitter, I still don’t quite get it.
Even though I don’t quite get it yet, […]

I just learned that Mars Edit got acquired by red sweater software. I really like Mars Edit, blog posting software that uses blog API’s like the MetaWeblog API to post and edit content. I find managing multiple blogs a lot easier with a desktop application.
After Ranchero got acquired by NewsGator, Mars Edit’s future looked […]

The Mesa Dynamics guys have released an update to their Amnesty Widget generator that creates Vista compatible “sidebar gadgets”!
I haven’t tested it yet since I’m not yet testing with Vista, so let me know if you run this and if it works with Grazr!

I apologize if anyone has tried commenting in the past week or so. We got assaulted by comment spam recently (amounting almost to a complete DOS attack even with Akismet) so I’d put in some countermeasures to try and stop it. Unfortunately some of them were a little *too* restricted so they we’re turning away […]

I stumbled across this utility to create a dashboard widget from any web widget (including Grazr).
I played with it a bit but I can’t seem to get scrollbars inside the widget to work. I did a little research and there’s apparently a custom css attribute:
-apple-dashboard-region: dashboard-region(control circle 5px 5px 5px 5px);
I tried specifying a large […]

Continuing with the series of using feed readers along with Grazr, the next reader I wanted to talk about was Google Reader.
Google Reader supports OPML, but unlike NewsGator and Bloglines, it treats the OPML subscription list as a static file for import and export without making it a network accessible resource. This means you […]
